BUSTER AND ME - about a boy, a dog and the difficult relationship with his father
Lukas has always been different because of his distinctive appearance, his uncertain way of speaking and his vivid imagination. These characteristics have made him the mascot of a small circus where he performs clown acts with his father and his dog Buster.
Lukas loves his father very much, but doesn't understand why he doesn't act like himself anymore.
Once upon a time, he was always happy and kind and joked around with Lukas. That was when Lukas' mum was also there and could walk a tightrope and fly on a trapeze high up under the tent canvas. She also taught Buster to walk a tightrope. Those were the days when everything was good.
Now, Lukas' father always gets angry at the slightest thing and scolds him for no reason.
Even Buster gets angry at him.
Lukas thinks it's the little bottle his father always keeps in his inside pocket that makes him so different and one day makes him say that he wants to get rid of Buster because he's too old to walk the tightrope and no longer does his tricks properly.
So Lukas decides to go away with Buster and never come back.
